God has a part, and we have a part. God will not do our part and we can’t do His part

Mike Bickle

“God has a part, and we have a part. God will not do our part and we can’t do His part.” This quote suggests that in the grand scheme of life, there are certain responsibilities or tasks that are solely within God’s purview, while others fall under our human jurisdiction. It emphasizes the idea of divine-human cooperation, where both entities have distinct roles to play, without overlapping or usurping each other’s responsibilities.

In terms of divine intervention, it suggests that while God is omnipotent and all-knowing, He allows us our free will to make choices and decisions. He doesn’t interfere with this process as it’s an essential aspect of human growth and progress. On the flip side, we as humans cannot assume or perform God’s duties because they involve divine wisdom and power beyond human comprehension or ability.

Applying this concept to today’s world could mean acknowledging that there are some things beyond our control – these can be seen as ‘God’s part’.These could include natural disasters, death or other unforeseen circumstances. We should focus on what is within our control – ‘our part’, which includes how we react to situations, how hard we work towards achieving goals or how much kindness we show towards others.

In personal development terms this quote may serve as a reminder for individuals to focus on their own actions and reactions rather than trying to control external factors outside their influence. It encourages personal obligation for one’s own life while recognizing there are larger forces at play that one cannot command.

It also hints at the idea of humility – recognizing that despite all scientific advancements and achievements humans have made over time – there are still mysteries in life only understood by higher powers (or what some might call ‘God’). So while striving for growth is important – it needs to be balanced with acceptance of things beyond one’s control too.
